MUSIC JUNQUI: 2012 GRAMMY WINNERS!

Last night the 54th annual Grammy Awards were given out and there was one clear winner of the night – Adele. The artist went home with overall 6 Grammys. Overshadowed by the unexpected death of Whitney Houston over the weekend, found dead at 48 in her Los Angeles hotel room, the Grammy Awards were nevertheless a big spectacle as usual. Next to Adele and Bon Iver, Kanye West goes home again with a couple of more Grammy’s for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance together with Jay-Z for ‘Otis’.

FASHION JUNQUI: Hi Rihanna!… Hi Armani!

On the Grammy carpet Sunday night, Rihanna Killed the red carpet! Sporting long, tousled blonde hair with long wavy bangs — arrived in a barely-there, super-sexy black gown with a belly-grazing v-neck and a very low back. She said her look was a “collaboration” between herself and Italian designer Giorgio Armani.

“We’ve been working together for a long time and he trusts me,” she explained. “I wanted to do something ‘very Michelle Pfeiffer from Scarface.’”

Rihanna sparkled in Neil Lane jewels – diamond and gold snake armlet, a wide gold cuff, jazzy gold and diamond rings and geometric diamond and gold triangle earrings. She finished off her look with Jacquie Aiche body necklaces,Christian Louboutin shoes, and Jimmy Choo clutch.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé do their own spin on 2Pac’s classic“Me And My Girlfriend”, only with a twist: While 2Pac was actually talking about his gun, Jay’s talking about his actual girlfriend — making it a romanticized Bonnie and Clyde-type story that many listeners initially took 2Pac’s version as (but considerably less violent)

Kanye West does production duty, and he keeps the main sound of 2Pac’s original while still making it sound fresh

The song was released on Jay’s 2002 double album The Blueprint²: The Gift and the Curse, and it was one of the biggest hits on the album: It was not only Jay’s second top ten single, but Beyoncé’s first top ten single as a solo artist. Check out the video below:

Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt has been gone for a while and it finally looks like he returned. After new Twitter and Tumblr pages surfaced this week, Earl posted the below video featuring himself and teasing with new music. In the video he says that once his Twitter account has reached 50′000 fans he will release the song. As you can imagine that did not take very long.

Little known rapper Mac Miller has opened up his talent to the world many times, and now the world is really starting to realize who he plans to be. The young 19-Teen-Year-Old just recently released his album last week, and now this week he stands on the billboard charts with the #1 album “Blue Side Park”. Miller had opened people’s ears a couple of months back with his hit single “Donald Trump” that grew high in favor. “Blue Side Park” is one of those albums that does the unexpected. “Digital sales for album’s first week sales were(109K out of 144K)”.

Mac Miller, Is 19 Teen and He’s Young , but with this kind of release with a debut album “I” as a personal fan of miller says; he might be Young, and 19 Teen, but he’s planning for a bigger career. Blue Slide Park is the fourth album by a teenaged artist to reach #1 so far this year, which makes this the year with the most #1 albums by teenaged artists. So theJUNQUI supports Mac Miller.

& Although Andre 3000 is not in the video , his verse that is liked by many fans, should not stop the love we have for Bey’s talent and charisma. Without a doubt Bey knew what she was doing.

The video depicts a life full of partying, the life that most of us desire to live.
