FASHION JUNQUI: Hi Rihanna!… Hi Armani!

On the Grammy carpet Sunday night, Rihanna Killed the red carpet! Sporting long, tousled blonde hair with long wavy bangs — arrived in a barely-there, super-sexy black gown with a belly-grazing v-neck and a very low back. She said her look was a “collaboration” between herself and Italian designer Giorgio Armani.

“We’ve been working together for a long time and he trusts me,” she explained. “I wanted to do something ‘very Michelle Pfeiffer from Scarface.’”

Rihanna sparkled in Neil Lane jewels – diamond and gold snake armlet, a wide gold cuff, jazzy gold and diamond rings and geometric diamond and gold triangle earrings. She finished off her look with Jacquie Aiche body necklaces,Christian Louboutin shoes, and Jimmy Choo clutch.

Kaws and fellow artist Julia Chiang teamed up for a new t-shirt of the Original Fake Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. The ‘Mind Your Fucking Business’ tee is a dope fusion of the two artist using their signature fonts. Look out for the t-shirt at OF retailers later this week.

FASHION JUNQUI: Super Bowl XLVI Half Time Style

I must admit that I wasn’t expecting much from the Half Time Show. Just the thought of Madonna lip-syncing a medley of her songs wasn’t a big motivator for me. Thank goodness for elaborate costumes and well-choreographed acrobatics…and the hopes that I will see these re-enactments on SNL and Drag Race.

 Looking for an excuse to watch this year’s Super Bowl? Well i’ve got two words for you: DAVID. BECKHAM. His H&M commercial for the David Beckham Bodywear line will air during the second quarter of the Superbowl. Just dont wear out the rewind button on your DVR, Junquies!

David Beckham Bodywear will be available February 2nd at H&M locations and hm.com.

Winter is rearing its ugly head, but my mind is slowly defrosting into Spring mode. I delight in reaching for my black sheer button up, black pants, black boots, black knit scarf and black coat as much as the next girl. (sense a theme here?)

As much as I LOVE my all black everything, breaking up my monotonous wardrobe palette might be the best way to make my outlook brighter (literally) and ring in the new Spring season.  Shoes in vibrant hues is my favorite cure-all. Luckily, Sam Edelman’s Spring 2012 collection does NOT disappoint!
