FASHION JUNQUI: RIHANNA x ROBIN HOOD BENEFIT 2012

Rihanna walked like an Egyptian and performed like a rock star at the 22nd annual Robin Hood Foundation Benefit in NYC. Clad in her Cleopatra-themed couture, she belted out her hits “Run This Town”, “Live Your Life” and “Only Girl (In The World)” while helping the organization raise over $57 million for 200 non profit groups.

Held last night at the Jacob Javits Center, this year’s theme was the NYC Subway System, “…and all the vital connections that the subway (and Robin Hood) make for New Yorkers.”  Since 1988, Robin Hood has been dedicated to fighting poverty in NYC, and 100% of every donation goes directly to organizations helping New Yorkers in need.

The Empire State Building in NYC was lit up in Robin Hood Green, in honor of the Robin Hood Benefit.
