FASHION JUNQUI: Farai Simoyi AW:11 “Madame’s Rouge”:

14 Feb

Looking for the hottest trends but instead we found art. Farai Simoyi is something to watch out for! Watching her “Madame’s Rouge” collection come down the runway you can’t help but think how much work and love she must have put into this collection. I didn’t feel as if I were looking for the hottest new trend or the colors for the fall/winter season. I felt like I was looking at artist’s painting or creation.  Farai used a mixture of burgundy, black, gold,  and velvets. Her pieces were garments that you can actually wear in the fw season and be warm and beautiful.

Farai’s “Madame’s Rouge” collection was inspired by the controversial role of Fanny the seductress, in French based play, “Sapho” in 1902. Farai Simoyi reveals the sultriness of her mused and brings her to modern life.

I enjoyed Farai’s Runway show and will be looking out for more! SB: Simoyi had Izze’s Sparkling Pomegranate at the show, one of my very favorite drinks! Yummy in my tummy!
