FASHION JUNQUI: Aztro Clothing Company

19 Jul

Can you tell me a little history on the line?Who designs Aztro? All of the early designs I am personally responsible for. I still have every sketch from the early stages of development. I realized how over the years the designs and concepts started to look better. I now have a team of very talented designers who also have their own respective design companies.
How did you meet? One of which, Brandon Diaz, attends Rider University with me. Another two, Anthony Steverson & Victoria Thompson, attend The College of New Jersey. The final designer, Albert Chumenti, attends Kean University.

I began to create Aztro Clothing Company when I was only 16 years old. In middle school I discovered that I could sketch very well and I began to sketch everything I could possibly sketch. Once I got to high school I began to look into the fashion world, in an attempt to keep up with the times. I noticed that a lot of clothing designs looked similar to others, but people would still buy them for some reason. One day as a joke I drew a sneaker which was similar to a Nike Air Force One and showed it to all of my friends, and to my surprise the liked it a lot. I took the idea and ran with it! I learned the politics on my own, such as copyrights and trademarks etc. By my Jr. year of high school I had established my very own LLC and took on the title of CEO.

I met my team in college.

What’s Aztro’s purpose?

The purpose of my company is to inspire any and everybody to chase their dreams. When I was 14 years old I made it up in my mind that i would be a CEO one day and no matter what I held on to that dream. 6 years later here I am moving my established company to Japan slowly but surly. It has been a very humbling experience because throughout all my years of creating the company I have touched and inspired hundreds of people, which was my dream. So in a sense, I have lived out my dream.
What inspires the designs?

The space-like concept came from my earliest childhood dream of becoming an astronaut. I have always been fascinated by the universe and I look at it as a step into the future. I applied this concept to my company to show that it is a step into the future of the fashion industry.

Who’s is your customer?

My target market began with the younger crowd such as teens and below. To my surprise I attracted adults as well. Now the clothing is marketed to any and all age groups!

Where can they purchase Aztro?

Since I am a man of very high expectations I have held back from mass producing for now. Every now and then I will drop a line of shirts and hoodies for the people but I am more focused on establishing a large demand. The business world is based on supply & demand, so once I feel as though I have a large enough demand I will flood the world with my designs. There are hundreds of designs that no one has seen yet.

What can we expect to see from Aztro in the future?

People can expect the company to be much more than another clothing line. This company is built on a foundation that seeks to help the youth, and that’s what I intend to do. I plan to show the people that there is a better side of life and that any dream, no matter what it is, that dream is possible to attain.
